A Creative Day

Good Morning!
My dear friend and sister Tricia expresses it this way: God only makes happy endings. So if it’s not happy it’s not the end. (from a card on her mirror)
As some ignorantly misjudge the skill and wisdom of a great architect and builder by his unfinished work, so also many in their ignorance now misjudge God by His unfinished work; but by and by, when the rough scaffolding of evil, which has been permitted for man’s discipline, and which shall finally be overruled for his good, has been removed, and the rubbish cleared away, God’s finished work will universally declare His infinite wisdom and power; and His plans will be seen to be in harmony with His glorious character. A 65
God isn't finished yet, with me or you or the world we live in. There is no peace unless we remember that we are in a great construction zone, and the Master Builder knows what He is doing!
Much love in Christ,
Joy
#207 A Creative Day Genesis 1.5
“And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.” Genesis 1:5
The Jewish reckoning of time originated in the book of Genesis. Why is the evening before the morning?
Perhaps this statement represents a principle in the creative power of God: first there is chaos, then the next step of order. First there is the permission of evil, then the blessing. “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning!” Psalm 30:5
When we are in the darkness of night in our lives or when we witness and feel the gross darkness that rests upon the whole human race, we need to remember this principle. The night is not endless. It is a creative step of God, bringing us to the shout of joy when His blessing is poured out.
God’s day ends with the best!
The best is yet to come!
