
#608 A Night Journey to Peace
Something really helped me when I woke up in the middle of the night a few nights ago, feeling very anxious.
Praying this verse and its lessons for all of us along with slow deep breathing (from the diaphragm) and making a conscious effort to relax all my muscles helped me, brought me from anxiety to peace. Combination of spiritual and physical calming of the sympathetic nervous system!
Isa 43.18,19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, now I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert, streams in the wasteland.”
