#556 A Prayer for the Power of His Penetrating Gaze of Love Part 2
“Search me , O God, and know my heart,
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24
“He is really doing the work. We are submitting ourselves that God may work in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” R5855
IT IS HIS WORK, and we are so blessed to surrender to it!
“He is our loving Father who loves us with a love that will not let go
and whose will is that we be faithful
and whose power is set on bringing the New Creation to faithfulness
through Christ their head and beloved.
We learn of Him as He shows us ourselves
by truly humbling us without crushing us
and by lifting us up again stronger and more determined that the work continue,
until His work be fully done in us to His glory and for His usefulness. “

In this Memorial Season I got temporarily discouraged, to see the leaven He was revealing.
And I realized that this was an answer to my prayer for the power of His penetrating Gaze of Love…Psalm 139:23-24. He knows how to reveal the leaven through the power of His Penetrating Gaze of Love without crushing us.
Our part is to listen to His every word, to LISTEN CONTINUALLY; to Hear His VOICE in every circumstance and challenge. Matthew 4:4
He will thus lead us to see what we need to see and to be inspired and strengthened out of Love to do what He would have us to do.
IT IS HIS WORK, and we are so blessed to surrender to it!
