2 Corinthians 4:17 Our affliction and pressure is light and easy; it is momentary and yet it accomplishes for us a supremely greater and eternal abundance of glory.
Don’t take aim at or regard what we see and perceive with our eyes. But regard and take aim at what we cannot see.
I got stuck in a ‘there is too much to do’ thinking spiral. And I felt temporarily overwhelmed.
I prayed, How do I need to refocus, Lord?
This was my answer: You are looking at a list of things to do. And they are good things, necessary things. But look beyond your list to MY INTENTION and desire for you.
Hebrews 12:2 Consider HIM, the author and finisher of our faith;
Look at the joy set before him and the joy we set before you.
Look at what we would have you become, trusting fully, full of joy.
“Be willing to follow wherever I lead. No matter how steep or treacherous the path before you, the safest place to be is by My Side.” S Young
Psalm 118:24 I made this day for you: Trust My creative Ability: rejoice and be glad in its challenges for they hold very specific opportunities and blessing for you in your walk.
Claim the LOVE that cannot be quenched, even by many waters. Song of Songs 8:7
This love is not overwhelmed by My will. This love delights in that will and forges forward in its desire to please the Father and the Son.
