#588 Call to Consider: His Amazing Provision
A dear Sister sent me the poem below, which led me to read the article it was quoted in, R5990.
These thoughts continue to deepen the importance of His message to me among challenges at work and in life, with people conflicts: to trust Him fully for HIS power to be at work in my heart and mind, replacing fear with trust for the environment of experience HE HAS PREPARED for my growth and privilege to let my light shine.
Proper Consideration of the Lily
“They are not worried about growing. The lily does not wake up in the morning and say, ‘Now, I wonder if I can make another quarter of an inch today. I wonder if I shall be able to grow as fast and to look as beautiful as that lily over there; and I wonder what people will think about me.’ It simply assimilates what it can absorb from the earth and from the atmosphere what God has provided for it there. It does not say, ‘I think that I shall go to another place, I cannot grow here,’ but it does the best it can wherever it happens to be.
“God knows all about our circumstances. If we need to be transplanted to another place, into a different kind of soil, where our new nature can batter thrive and expand, or where our reasonable, temporal needs can be better obtained, he can arrange for it. He knows just what is good for us, best for us, temporally and spiritually. It is our part to look for His leadings, not attempting to take the helm into our own hands, nor concluding that the Lord will never change our conditions. (R5990-5991)
And so The Call to Consider HIS PROVISION continues: I AM PROVIDING for you in every way spiritually. Seek the Kingdom as your priority in life and you will be open and able to absorb these provisions. Please SEE My Heart behind what is happening in your life!
Trust the environment of experience I have prepared for your spiritual nourishment and spiritual growth and Beauty.

They grow in the rain and they grow in the snow.
Yes, they grow.
