Delight to do His will Psalm 40:8
Delighting in the Will of God is not delighting in the circumstance alone. His “will” includes His Purpose, Intention and Plan. We can delight in His Purpose, His Intention and His Plan in His use of each circumstance.
And so, Delight in the delay! Delight in what is known! Delight is what in unknown! Delight in what we do not yet understand, knowing HE does!
We can rejoice in the conflict, and delight in the lack of resolution, knowing the answer for healing or clarity will come in His time and way. (It may not be until the Kingdom…)
What we always know is His Intention is to make things right and to bless.
What empowers us to delight in His will: His principles and all He stands for are dear to our hearts, and in the deepest center of our thinking and affection.
For He has dug and pierced through our perception to open our ears, hearts and minds to appreciate the true sacrifice of Christ, and our part in the ministry of Christ. Psalm 40:6, Hebrews 10:5-10 His loving, just intentions and purposes are engraven within our hearts.
We can rejoice in the question knowing His Answer is Perfect, Wise and Loving. Gratitude for the questions and the circumstances are part of rejoicing in His will.
Phil 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Rejoice in the potential for sanctification in each challenge, for this is the will of God concerning you.,(1 Thessalonians 4.3) and we delight to do His will because we delight in His intention and purpose.
It is an amazing privilege to delight in and find the gift in all that comes our way!
We Delight to do Thy will—to cooperate and carry out Your Purpose, Intention and Plan.
Through Jesus let us offer the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving to God continually and constantly, in every thought and expression of thought, which leads to the action of sacrifice, agreeing and acknowledging Their depth of love and their faithful promise that if we suffer with him (Hebrews 13:13) we will reign with him. (Hebrews 13:14)
