Enthroning Him upon our Praise Psalm 22:1-2
“…Yet Thou art holy, O Thou who art enthroned upon the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:1-2
“Yet You are holy…” Jesus chose to exalt or enthrone His God and Father by the focus and conviction that never lost sight of the holiness of God and the joy of past and future deliverance—the deliverance of the fathers of Israel, his own deliverance, the deliverance of his followers, and the final deliverance of Israel and the whole human family. Psalm 22:4-5; 2-10; 19-21; 22-31
And we have the same privilege of focus and conviction.
We enthrone the Heavenly Father by praise. When we praise Him we make Him the Sovereign King and authority of our lives.
Praise helps to put the Heavenly Father in His rightful position as Most High, Most Holy, Most Powerful, Abundantly loving.
Let’s be careful to exalt and enthrone our God and Father, and not our Goliath.
Enthroning Him through praise triumphs over discouragement and times when we may be resisting an experience.
Praise empowers us to fulfill our vows—
“ I will praise your name forever, that I might daily perform my vows.” Psalm 61:8
Praise empowers us to drink the Cup He has poured.
