#633 Facing Challenge Equipped with His Armor Part 1
What a blessing to focus on the boundless resource of power, through the MINDSET of the complete armor of God, especially in these challenging times. Ephesians 6:10-13 Phillips
“In conclusion be strong—not in yourselves but in the Lord, in the power of his boundless resource.” “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.” NASB The strength of HIS MIGHT is surely a boundless resource!
“Put on God’s complete armour so that you can successfully resist all the devil’s methods of attack. For our fight is not against any physical enemy: it is against organizations and powers that are spiritual. We are up against the unseen power that controls this dark world, and spiritual agents from the very headquarters of evil.”
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. [like a soldier!] Your adversary the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9 We are not alone in this battle against flesh and blood and spiritual powers, and as we use this armor, remembering our Brother and Sister soldiers in this same mission gives us courage and connection with one another.
“Therefore you must wear the whole armour of God that you may be able to resist evil in its day of power, and that even when you have fought to a standstill you may still stand your ground.”
ALL the armor must be in use. When we have “done all”—done all that we are empowered to do, even though the battle continues, this is not the time to give up! We have the privilege to stand firm and stay our ground, to His glory.
