Full of Sap part 1

This is a meditation to praise my Heavenly Father for the memory of my Grandma, Sister Helen Zlotowski, and for the many older brethren who have been such examples and inspiration to me.
I thank the Lord for all of you who are Full of Sap…
#245 Full of Sap Psalm 92.14 Part 1
“The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree,
he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Planted in the house of the LORD,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:12-13
These verses describe our growing place, the condition that supplies all the support and nourishment necessary so that we will bud, blossom and bear fruit.
Our growing place is in the condition of worship, awe and thanksgiving in the presence of our God.
“They will still yield fruit in old age;
they shall be full of sap and very green,
to declare that the LORD is upright;
He is my rock and there is no unrighteousness in Him.”
Psalm 92:14-15
The ability to be full of life for God is not limited to the days of youth. This is an assurance that in the later years of life, though we may feel limits of age, we can still be full of sap!
Oh Lord, I want to declare Your holiness and Your stability in my life now and come what may as I continue to grow older.
Though the “How” and “What” may change,
we can look forward to the privilege of declaring
the love and holiness of God in every phase of our life.
I thank the Lord for all of you who are Full of Sap…
