Gathering Forces No Match for the Lord of the Harvest

#223 Gathering Forces No Match for the Lord of the Harvest Isaiah 43.5
We have seen the first phases of the miraculous re-gathering of Israel.
“Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west.
I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring My sons from afar, and my daughters form the ends of the earth,
Everyone who is called by My name,
And whom I have created for My glory,
Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.” Isaiah 43:5-7
We have seen the strong opposition of world opinion turn in her favor after WWII, making it possible for the nation to be reborn. We know that “the great prince who stands guard” (Daniel 12:1) over the sons of the people of God will continue to stand for that nation’s survival and blessing. Isaiah 43:5-7 testifies to this re-gathering process and the final outcome of covenant relationship, verse 25, despite their sins (verse 27-28), which is the spirit poured upon them and their devotion to God and their witness to His saving power through Christ in the Kingdom. Isaiah 44:1-5, 43:15-21, Zechariah 12:10-14
A similar re-gathering is happening today for the spiritual Israel of God, another miraculous phase of God’s plan for Kingdom blessing.
Do not fear, for I am with you;
I will gather you in time of Harvest, to the truths so long forgotten,
To deeper fellowship with Me and with your spiritual family.
Nothing will hold this process back.
I will lead every one begotten of My spirit, wherever they are, from the ends of the earth,
Everyone called by My name, each one of you created for My glory.
(paraphrase of Isaiah 43:5-7)
So when forces of opposition unite and seem ready to conquer and crush, let us remember the power of the Lord of the Harvest.
His power to gather us to His truth, to one another, and to Himself is far greater than the counterfeit gatherings and unions of men.
We are never out-numbered or out powered because the Lord of Armies, the Lord of Hosts stands on our behalf.
