He is Risen! Continue to Seek

“ ’Hear, O LORD, and be gracious to me; O LORD, be Thou my helper.’
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing;
Thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness;
That my soul may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to Thee forever.” Psalm 30:10-12
We cannot image what joy and exhilaration burst upon the moment of our Lord’s resurrection.
This was a taste of the resurrection power and joy that would first bless and heal the followers of Christ, and then (and coming soon!) to heal and bless every member of our human family!
May we seek HIM and the joy of his resurrection power to strengthen us in our walk and to empower us to shine his light and respond to need, all in preparation for the blessing of every precious child born in Adam.
“Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5

“Then the disciples went back to their homes,
but Mary stood outside the tomb crying.
As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb
And saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been,
One at the head and the other at the foot.
They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said,
“and I don’t know where they have put him.”
At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there,
But she did not realize that it was Jesus.
“Woman,” he said, “Why are you crying?
Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking he was the gardener, she said,
“Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward him and cried out “Teacher!”
John 20:10-16
Don’t look for me and then go home.
Continue to seek, bringing with you your emotions and your questions.
The answer is in the tomb, the very place that brought you such grief.
Look straight into your grief, and then turn away from it.
You may not recognize me immediately,
clothed in a circumstance you do not expect,
but keep seeking.
The answer is that I am your risen Lord, with all power in heaven and earth
and I love you.
“Look to the LORD and his strength,
Seek his face always.” Psalm 105:4
