#551 He Knows What We Need, a Call to Praise Amid the Unknown!
Psalm 139:1- 3 “O LORD, Thou hast searched me and known me. Thou dost know when I sit down and when I rise up; Thou dost understand my thought from afar. The dost scrutinize my path and my lying down, and art intimately acquainted with all my ways.”
We are thoroughly known and thoroughly understood.
He knows how to scrutinize or winnow our path, ie He winnows out the chaff of non-beneficial experience and leaves what is valuable for our spiritual growth.
“You shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done, saith the Lord God.”
Ezekiel 14.23
“Knowing us better that we know ourselves, fully understanding how greatly we are affect by outward events and conditions of life, He has ordered them with a view to our entire and final, not only our immediate, happiness [and Blessing!]; and whenever we can be safely trusted with pastures that are green and waters that are still, in the way of earthly blessing, the Good Shepherd leads us there.” Anthony W Thorold
And of coarse He also leads us to the green pastures and still waters of special spiritual refreshment in His perfect time and way.
Matthew 6:8 Our Father knows what we need.
“And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” He is able and willing to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 This promise states that HE SHALL supply all our needs: this is His commitment to us in every present moment of challenge.
And knowing the depth of Your wisdom, and the dimensions of Your love for us, we ARE PRAISING YOU and our Lord Jesus in every present moment of challenge.
Again:
“My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.” Psalm 57:7 Despite the circumstance MY HEART IS FIXED and established. I will not waver or be swayed. I will sing and praise You in the midst of every challenge especially before Your resolution and answer is known to me. Psalm 116:12-17, John 12:27-28
