Healing the Root of Fear Isaiah 51.12-13 Part 1
“After this the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision,
‘Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield (protector, buckler, [small shield for hand to hand combat]) and your very great reward.” Genesis 15:1
I claim you as my protection in the ‘small skirmishes’ and conflicts/challenges
with people throughout my day.
“I am he who comforts you.
What ails you that you fear man who must die, the sons of men who are but grass?”
THIS IS WHAT AILS YOU:
“You have forgotten [to mislay]
The LORD your Maker,
Who stretched out the skies and made the earth!
And you live all day in constant dread because of the rage of an oppressor
who is aiming to cut you down.
Yet of what account is the rage of the oppressor?” Isaiah 51:12-13 Tanakh
Be aware of when you place your fear over My resources, when you misplace Who I am and My Creative Power, because of focus on fear… All outcomes are in My hand!
Wake up to the truth of Who I am on your behalf. Knowing My power to deliver through Christ, clothe your mind with strength, not fear! Isaiah 51:9
The word forgotten, means “to mislay.” The definition of mislay is to unintentionally put an object where it cannot readily be found and so lose it temporarily.
I will not let the clutter and crisis in life divert my attention from You and Your will.
“Fear of man will prove to be a snare (a noose) But whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.” (to make lofty, inaccessible, by implication, safe) Proverbs 29:25
“Now may the LORD of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way…” 2 Thess 3:16
I claim this trust and sense of well-being and safety at all times, in all circumstances,
through every method and way that He sees fit!
