#448 How to Never Give Up Hebrews 12.1-2 Part 1
I felt like giving up in the midst of repeated challenges.
And He reminded me through Hebrews 12:1-2:
Run with patience [cheerful endurance]
the race [agon: Vines: primary meaning of the word is conflict,
but it also describes the Olympic Games] set before us…
He has created this race, with its twists and turns. The distance, the terrain, all have been arranged by Divine wisdom.
Don’t give up in the midst of the conflict that His Wisdom has chosen or allowed.
Run: give Him our passionate determination in the challenges that lie ahead.
The Most High God, our Coach knows and oversees every step of the race
of conflict and challenge.
At times we may feel like giving up.
When I brought these feelings to Him He put all things in perspective
by reminding me of the privilege of being coached by the Most High God.
May we never resist His coaching!
