We are planning to visit our CT family for Christmas for a couple of weeks Lord willing…LORD bless you all!
#548 How to rejoice in the Midst of Whatever Happens Part 4
Identify the true purpose of the turmoil, and WHO IS AT WORK to bless you through it. Identify how personally involved They are in helping us grow through every testing and challenge. Romans 8:28; 1 Peter 5:6-7, Matthew 28:20
“In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye, like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads it wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions. The LORD alone led him; no foreign god was with him.” Deuteronomy 32:10-12
Words from a song I wrote back in 2007
Wings
I stir the nest. Do you recognize me
in the unexpected challenge that makes you want to run;
in the times you sit in stillness waiting; in the times when you can’t see the sun;
in the times you long to fly well above the valleys
and mountains high?
I am near. I use your circumstance
to nudge you awake, to give you a chance.
I am there in that fearful moment when you feel that you’re about to fall.
I challenge you to try your wings. Love is all around you,
I hear your call.
You free fall. But I am there
to catch you in that moment but you don’t seem aware
that you’re riding safely on my shoulder.
You can’t see, distracted by your fear. I’m helping you to try your wings.
Even when you can’t see me,
I am there.
If I don’t stir your little world
how could my cherished dreams ever come true—for your wings to be strong and steady,
to soar wild, freely by my side. I’m teaching you to try your wings
Soaring like two eagles, into the sky.
Soaring like two eagles,
just you and I.
