Is a person who hasn't heard about Christianity a sinner, according to the Bible?
There are a lot of people who have not and cannot (due to a lack of information) hear about Christianity, are they considered sinners according to the Bible ? After all, it wasn't a conscious lack of action.
Answer:
According to the Bible—everyone is a sinner—even the Christian.
1Jn_1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
When we become a Christian—Jesus covers our sins—that is the Adamic sins that we are born with. But we continually get spots on that robe and it is our job to wash it in the blood of Jesus and ask for forgiveness.
The world of mankind does not have that robe or covering.
They are not on trial now—”judgment begins at the house of God”—that is the Christian and those who profess Christ (but are not), and all Christian systems (churches). All the false will be destroyed in the Great Time of Trouble that is coming.
The the world’s (individuals) judgement will begin in the resurrection. Its a period of judgment and not a reading of a sentence. This is the Kingdom all Christians pray for. All mankind will come to know Jesus and God.
Jer_31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
