Question about Acts 1: Jesus Ascension and Return

In Acts 1:6-11 The men in white told the disciples that Jesus would return just as he just left?
Notice there were no trumpets no lighting no tumult
Notice this happens during the counting of the Omar 40 days after his resurrection and 10 days before Pentecost
Are we missing something prophetic here?
I've never heard anyone talk of this but consider this.. there is nothing that has to do with Yeshua that isn't significant.
also consider the parable of the fig tree.. when does it happen late spring early summer. hmmmm
Any Ideas?
Answer:
As far as the "coming"--when we understand that the "coming" is in stages: Parousia, Epiphania and Apokalupsis, we can determine by context which portion of the "coming" is referred too.
Coming in like manner: like you said, no outward show--only the faithful saw him go.
Parousia means presence--not coming. Matt. 24 the disciples ask Jesus about his Parousia--check the word for "coming" in the Greek.
The Greek word in this text is just coming--no reference to which stage.
"The main point here is that the apostles saw him go, not the world. It was a private audience. Those who saw Jesus ascend were a small number, and they were all specially chosen for the occasion. The implication is that Jesus would inform his followers when he returned at his Second Advent. Of course the disciples did not fully understand his words at this time." Jesus is also a type--type of his body members--the faithful Christian. His last week is a prophetic type of the completion of his bride class. Only a select few--who are watching---will understand when the saints are sealed and taken off the scene. This is the Elisha class---he was told of Elijah (who not only is a type of John the Baptist--just of The Christ head and body also as Jesus says--when he say: "likewise..." So when Elisha asks for a double portion--he is told "If you see me go" you will get it.
It was after the disciples saw Jesus go that they were re-energized. Before that they went back to fishing--they had no instruction and didn't know what to do.
This type cannot make sense if one cannot recognize there are two classes of spirit begotten--who get two different rewards.
1) the Bride, the Elect, the Little Flock, the Church,--in type Elijah, Wise Virgins, Gideon and the 300, Daniel and the 3 Hebrew Children, Noah and the three sons and other types.
2) the Great Multitude, there is no calling to this class, we call it a mercy class--those running for the "one hope" missed out on first prize, but not worthy of the second death--these are the Foolish Virgins, also pictured as Elisha, the Scapegoat--who is turned over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, those who failed the water test in Gideon --they are easily seen as the Levites--the servants to the priesthood (who is Jesus and his bride)--they have no inheritance in the land, under the blood as the firstborn were.)
So there are two things that you have to see: the stages of the "coming" and the two spirit begotten heavenly classes. Without that understanding many of the parable and prophecies will be locked.
Sorry to run on so long.
To the fig tree. It put forth leaves May 1948. That is one major proof to where we are in the stream of time.
