#560 “My Peace” Amid the Storm” Part 4
“But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.” John 14:31
These criminal accusations have been a limited testimony to the faithfulness of Christ, but only by a few. Soon the false accusations and his death will be a testimony fully understood by ALL the world—ALL PEOPLE— of his love for the Father, a voluntary sacrifice that testifies that he did exactly as the Father commanded him, even unto the death of the cross.
“Arise, let us go hence.”
Again, with the conviction of his relationship with the Father, with faith’s conviction and focus that he was completely committed to the Father, willing to be obedient to His will, and with the conviction and focus that this sacrifice would eventually be understood and appreciated by the whole world, he was at peace and ready to go forward to face the next set of challenges.
We have peace and can go forward amid any storm when we focus on faith’s conviction that we are His Beloved Children, that we have made our decision, empowered by the Holy spirit, regardless of the cost, “forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead…” Philippians 3:7-8, 13-14;
We can have his peace and go forward when to face any storm when we focus on faith’s conviction that our hearts desire and effort to serve Them, unnoticed and sometimes misunderstood, WILL BE UNDERSTOOD in the Kingdom and will bring glory to our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus.
