#698 Looking Back on Lessons in this Past Year Part 1
A Dear Brother wrote out the main things he was learning in the past year. As I read them I realized that that the Lord was teaching me along similar lines.
First he shared: 1. “God’s Will always overrides everything else. It’s always the best for everyone in every situation. We just need to know it and do it. In humility, if we’re honest with ourselves, we will usually know it. If we don’t know it, study it, and be patient to allow Him to reveal it to us.”
My theme verse for last year was John 12:27 “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour? But for this cause cam I unto this hour. Father, glorify Thy name.” There is much power in the prayer “Father Glorify Thy Name.” I have found praying the words of Jesus to be very refocusing when my soul is troubled, leading me to be READY TO ACCEPT THE WILL of the Father. This focus on glorifying our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus, can strengthen us to accept the privilege of fulfilling Divine will and purpose.
His Will is more important than our preference or comfort!!!
