#701 Looking Back on Lessons in this Past Year Part 4
And he shared this: 4. “Be merciful and loving to others and to ourselves, recognizing the limitations we all face in our fallen conditions. Don’t expect more from others, or from ourselves, than we can deliver.”
OH YES! Know no one after the flesh, including ourselves! 2 Cor 5:16-17 This is especially necessary and helpful when I get irritated with someone for forgetting or misplacing something of mine. And then the LORD gives ME the experience of forgetting, or accidently breaking something, or spilling something AND I AM SO GRATEFUL because it is such a reminder that we are ALL imperfect!!! Being merciful can involve understanding the limitations of others, and also that of our own, focusing on the new creature Intention.
