#432 Our Stability Amid these Times and Seasons of Change Daniel 2:20-23
“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
to whom belong wisdom and might.
He is wise and mighty--
He therefore has both the wisdom of sound eternal perception and judgment to know the timing of His unfolding Plan. He has the power to bring these changes to pass.
“He changes times and seasons;
he removes kings and sets up kings;”
All changes of government are under His wise power.
He permits what is necessary.
He intervenes when it is necessary.
He never loses sight of the final outcome of blessing for ALL People under Christ’s rulership. Daniel 2:44; Isaiah 9:6-7; 2:1-4
“He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to those who have understanding;
He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him.”
He knows what is in the darkness
He knows the whole story behind the current events of our day and of every event in history. The details and truth that may not be fully known or publicized are in His keen awareness. This complete awareness is part of the wisdom of the timing He chooses.
“To you, O God of my fathers,
I give thanks and praise,
for you have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we asked of you,
for you have made known to us the king’s matter.”
You have given me wisdom and might
He will equip us with the wisdom to know His will and the power to carry it out.
It is not our job to support or subvert. As Jesus stated, “My Kingdom is not of this world; if it were my servants would fight…” John 18:36; Romans 13:1-5; 1 Peter 2:13-17 Our part is to live and speak His Truth, regardless of the consequences to our own life. Acts 4:18-20; 5:29
“O LORD, be gracious to us! It is to You we have looked;
Be their arm every morning, also our deliverance in times of stress.” Isaiah 33:2 Tanakh
Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of our times; wisdom and knowledge [the renewed mind of Christ] will provide the wealth of deliverance: the reverence of our covenant keeping God is the condition by which our treasure is stored. Isaiah 33:6
