#425 Proving Him Holy Romans 12:2 Revisited
My old thinking looks at certain experiences and takes things personally, proof that ‘I don’t fit in,’ and that ‘I am an outsider.’
But my goal is to prove Him Holy in this experience and in every experience:
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is,
that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 Phillips
So instead of proving that things are wrong and impossible,
I will prove His will is good: by trusting His intent to Bless;
prove His will is acceptable: by full acceptance of His choices in our lives;
prove His will is perfect: to trust that His will is not limited in its scope and effects, but complete in its far-seeing wisdom.
“Once I started accepting Romans 12:2 in it's fullest sense…
and proving that His will for me is good for me,
acceptable to me and perfect for me...
I found that life is mostly joy.
It's hard to be disappointed when I know that this experience
is just what I need to be found faithful to the Lord.” Sister Cher-El
And so the LORD leads me to declare:
I know this experience is good for me.
I accept His will in this moment.
This challenge is perfect for me,
A PERFECT FIT, tailor-made, to fit me perfectly into His will and plan for my life.
“But we are meant to hold firmly to the truth in love, and to grow up in every way into Christ.
For it is from the head that the whole body, as a harmonious structure knit together by the joints with which it is provided, grows by the proper functioning of individual parts to its full maturity in love.” Ephesians 4:15-16
