Question on Tithing

Tithing:
Many of us are wanting to walk strong in obedience and be blessed and be a blessing in finances. These are just a few questions:
What if a person is financially struggling, what is the storehouse, is tithe only financial, is it really 10%, where do we tithe, Is charity the same as tithing, and many more.
Answer:
Tithing is a Jewish custom, and not a Christian. When we consecrate ourselves to the Lord, we give Him our ALL. All that we have is His, and we are merely stewards of it. It is not only our money that is God's, but our time and our talents--those need to be used in His service. God does not need our money--He needs our hearts. When we love God with all our heart, mind and soul--He will show us what to use in His service.
We are also to lay down our lives for the brethren--those who have also given their lives to the Lord. That is part of our sacrifice.
As a Christian we give our all, not 10%.
