#518 Red Sea Advice Exodus 14.10-16 Part 2
We need to learn to properly label the Red Sea Experience.
It is pure opportunity.
Paraphrase of John 16:33 I’ve prepared you ahead to know that your life will be full of challenge, with the purpose of imparting peace in your heart: not only do I know ahead the things that will challenge you, I have dominion over tribulation—the very things that bring you pressure, the things you feel trapped and hemmed in by.
And the very things that bring us pressure, and that we may experience as trapping us or hemming us in are really the opportunity to develop the Blessing refined and precious faith that honors Him! 1 Peter 1:7
When the soul is surrounded
When the soul is surrounded with enemies on all hands, so that there is no way of escape, faith flies above them and carries up the soul to take refuge in Christ, and it is there safe.....by believing, the wisdom and strength of Christ are thine; thou art and oughtest to find thyself all weakness, but he is all strength—mightiness itself. ......Yet rely on him; he can turn the chase in an instant. Still cleave to him......

Sometimes we see the challenges that surround us and we forget that He surrounds the challenges! And that He is surrounding US!
“When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?" the servant asked..
"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” NIV 2 Kings 6:15-17
“You are my shelter; you guard me from distress; with joyful shouts of deliverance you surround me. Selah” Psalm 32:7 NABRE
The Red Sea challenges that surround us give us the opportunity to see His deliverance in a stark reality we never would have otherwise seen!
