Red Sea Rule #9

#322 Red Sea Rule #9
View your current crisis as a faith builder for the future.
The original Red Sea experience lives on as a testament to God’s power and provision in the midst of impossible odds.
It is a picture of the LORD’s ability to deliver the whole human family from the power of sin and death. Isaiah 10:26-27 (The King of Assyria picturing Satan’s oppressive power.)
The Red Sea deliverance becomes our personal experience as we are sanctified in Christ. And so each of us, and eventually each of our human family will testify to the LORD’s creative deliverance in the midst of “impossibility.”
We learn from Red Sea Experiences about the very human response that each of us must deal with, the response to doubt God’s power and forget His provision.
“Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Thy wonders;
They did not remember Thine abundant kindnesses,
but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name,
That He might make His power known.
Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up;
And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness.
So He saved them from the hand of the one who hated them…
Then they believed His words; They sang His praise.
They quickly forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel…”
Psalm 106:7-11, 12,13
Red Sea experiences can strengthen the faith of others.
Rahab declared her new found faith to the two spies of Israel: “I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have melted away before you. For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. And when we heard it, our hearts melted and no courage remained in any man any longer because of you; for the LORD your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.” Joshua 2:10
Red Sea experiences will be a witness to our children and to generations to come. Joshua 4:20-24
Red Sea experiences are a reminder that His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalm 136:13-15
