Red Sea Rule #8
#319 Red Sea Rule #8
Trust God to deliver in His own unique way.
The Red Sea experience is a Divinely crafted opportunity for us to witness the creative deliverance of the LORD.
“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night, and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided.
And the sons of Israel went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” Exodus 14:21-22
God transformed the very obstacle into veritable opportunity.
“That which, like a sea, threatens to drown you,
shall be a highway for your escape.” Charles Spurgeon
1 Corinthians 10:13!
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
the God who is our salvation.
God is to us a God of deliverances;
and to God the Lord belong escapes from death.
Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth;
Sing praises to the Lord,
To Him who rides upon the highest heavens, which are from ancient times;
Behold, He speaks forth with His voice, a mighty voice.
Ascribe strength to God;
His majesty is over Israel,
And His strength is in the skies.
O God, Thou art awesome from Thy sanctuary.
The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to the people.
Blessed be God!”
Psalm 68:19-20, 32-35
“By awesome deeds Thou dost answer us in righteousness,
O God of our salvation,
Thou who art the trust of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest sea…”
Psalm 64;5
