Restoring the Spark of Life in Life part 1

Good Morning!
I prayed that the Lord would restore the spark of life in my life, and He led me to pray Psalm 51:12.
Step by step I have received direction. The trip to Connecticut and being with my family and at the discourses and fellowship at the General convention all provided answers.
The next set of meditations will reflect what the Lord has led me to.
Much love in Christ,
Joy
#190 Restoring the Spark of Life in Life Psalm 51.12 Part 1
“Restore to me the joy of salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Psalm 51:12
“…He asks to be supported by a spirit which freely and willingly responds to the right.” Soncino
David here declares his faith in God’s ability to help him experience again the joy of His deliverance, and the ability of God to hold or prop him up with an attitude of openness to voluntarily choose His perspective and will.
“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation.” Isa. 12:2-3!
What gets in the way of experiencing JOY in His deliverance?
The first thing to determine is what spring are we drawing water from? The spring of discouragement or the springs of deliverance?
What makes us able to draw refreshment from the source of salvation?
Behold: #2009: See; “lo!” (from #2006, an expression of surprise)
Declare with delighted surprise and excitement that God is our deliverance. Declare it on the basis of what we SEE, delighting in WHO HE IS.
Choose trust over fear! because circumstance and inner conflict is no match for the LORD God. I will not sing the song of despair or be derailed by the strength of the enemy or my own patterns. I will be supported by the Mighty God who keeps His promises.
“I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted; the horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea. The LORD is my strength and song, and he has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him. The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is His name.” Ex 15:2-3 We can look back and we can look forward to His Red Sea Deliverance, the times when there seems to be no way out. We joyfully acknowledge Him for being the strength and power that got us through the impossible. He delivered us from sin and death and He will continue to deliver. He is the song that brings inspiration and praise; He is our Mighty Warrior, able to deal with every obstacle!
INSTEAD of thoughts centered on “Impossibility” or “failure,” we center our thoughts on the inspiration of WHO HE IS and His power on our behalf!
“Consider and answer me, O LORD, my God; Enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death…But I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13: 3, 5-6
Open our eyes to whatever negative thing that captivates our attention.
Open our eyes to see the impact and to be WILLING to let go.
Open our eyes to BEHOLD YOU, with delight and surprise.
