#438 Say Amen!
“For all the promises of God have their ‘Yes’ in him;
and therefore through him also we utter the ‘Amen’ to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:20
Let us bring glory to Him by agreeing and saying Amen in Jesus name to His promises!
Let us agree with the Word of God, and make His words our words.
A dear Sister dealing with cancer shared this thought in a testimony:
She said that she greets every new experience with the short prayer,
“Thank you, Lord, for this GOOD experience”.
Sometimes she has to repeat it 20 times in 5 minutes,
but eventually she re-wires her brain to see that the experience is good,
and to look for the good in it.
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; and his courts with praise;
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever,
his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:4

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for thou art with me…” Psalm 23:4

‘My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!’ Psalm 91:2
