Surely the Lord is in This Place part 3

Good Morning!
In the Kingdom our human family will learn a “pure language.” Zephaniah 3:8-9 The confusion of language at the Tower of Babel lessened the cooperation and the extent of the fallen schemes of man in rebellion against God. Genesis 11:6-8. The breakdown of language prevented united work, ‘serving with one consent’ or serving ‘shoulder to shoulder. In the Kingdom the LORD will be king over all the earth, and the only object of worship will be the LORD. Zechariah 14:9 The pure language and perspective will empower global cooperation in service to God.
We get to learn that language now! This language of praise empowers us as part of the Brotherhood in Christ to serve God in cooperation with one another, shoulder to shoulder. “Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus; that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6 Psalm 19:14
Praise born of confidence in God is our new language. And then we get to rename everything in life.
Much love in Christ,
Joy
#214 Surely the Lord is in this place Genesis 28.16 Part 3
The language of our awareness
Jacob’s first thought upon awakening was one of gratitude. “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” His heart filled with awe and perhaps embarrassment for doubting God, as he exclaimed, “How awesome is this place. This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.” Genesis 28:16-17
Early that morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it. He called that place Bethel, though the city {nearby} used to be called Luz. Genesis 28:18-19
Jacob named the place Bethel. He replaced the Canaanite name with a name from his own native tongue. How do we label our challenging experiences? What language do we choose to use? The language of the Canaanite reflects a perspective that lacks the power of the true God. It is our privilege to re-label the place of our fear and uncertainty “Bethel”, the house of God. Surely the God who keeps His Covenant Promises is in this place. This place of uncertainty is awesome, because God is with us in it. This place of fear is the gate of heaven!
“Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” What do we notice in the midst of our fear and challenge? O Lord, Broaden our awareness to see beyond the fear and challenge to see You and Your faithful unfailing love. Teach us to think beyond our habitual Canaanite vocabulary to the language of our Heavenly Home. “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15
