He will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.” Isaiah 23:
“When I don't feel like my needs are being met, I try to find a way to
improve my situation. I want to manipulate my surroundings to make me
me feel more safe and comfortable.
When I look to God, and trust in Him,
my focus is on who He wants me to be IN the situation.”
Who He wants me to be IN the situation:
Instead of wishing the experience away,
we draw inspiration and courage from our Precious Savior:
“Now my soul has become troubled; and what shall I say,
‘Father, save me from this hour’?
But for this purpose I came to this hour,
Father, glorify Thy name.” John 12:27-28
