America the Beautiful! Throughout history America was beautiful, if you weren't black or Indian, Chinese, Catholic or Jewish. So basically America was beautiful to the White Anglo Saxon Protestant….male. Well, I have three of those down, so life isn't so bad.
We tend to think of the “good ole days”—the good ole days of the white protestant male that is. But even in our present day when there is more equality, life really isn't that bad. For the most part people are accepting, even in the Deep South where I live.
Yes, people are more accepting now, they accept the Blacks, the Jews, and the Mexicans, the Chinese, the Jews, the gays, and so forth.
People are also accepting that the government has taken this right away and that right away, this freedom that freedom.
Just looking at this year alone, 2013, there have been a number of disturbing events in our back yard.
1) Gun control--many back this as they are so conditioned to think that anyone who carries a gun is evil and should be hauled off to jail or some unknown prison never to be heard from again.
Well, pretty soon, the only ones who will have guns are the police types, you know like Homeland Security, the Department of Education, the Department of Social Security and IRS. Taking the guns out of law abiding citizen’s hands was the first thing Hitler and other dictators did prior to a military state.
2) Colorado is about to sign over their police power to the Secret Service, so that they can arrest any Sheriff or officer who will not violate the Second Amendment.
Think about that. The governor of Colorado doesn’t trust his own law officers to keep the law, so he is hiring hit men—men who don’t mind going outside the law to get things done. They say Texas is next and is coming to a state near you.
3) Tennessee has hired airport security (TSA), you know those guys that steal stuff out of your luggage to do vehicle searches on the highways.
Think about that for a moment—Security guards are now law enforcement. They have the power outside of their domain to search your car without a warrant. Right now they are starting with truck stops, but plan to get those terrorists wherever they might be driving.
4) It is against the law to protest or speak against Monsanto.
It is called the Monsanto protection act. Monsanto the country’s biggest chemical company who owns rights to life—seeds. How can you patent seeds—they found a way? They can dump raw chemicals in open sewers in Alabama and cause a whole community to get cancer and still stay in business--only in America. They threaten states who want their food labeled if they are genetically modified and now they have the federal backing for those threats. Monsanto is behind colony collapse disorder of the world’s honey bee population (we don’t track other pollinators), Autism, Diabetes and all sorts of other reactions to their chemically enhanced foods. So the “right to know” and “freedom of speech” is in the trash now along with our nation’s health.
5) The latest in a string of violations to our constitutional rights is North Carolina who plans to declare a state religion.
While many Christians may jump up and down and do the dance of joy over this—that joy will be short lived. Which Christian denomination will be accepted by the State? Probably Baptist as that is what the South is, predominantly. So what happens if you are Methodist, Lutheran and heaven forbid fringe Christians like the Catholics, Mormons and the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and any other non-denominational, non-affiliated Christian group. What happens to you? If they accept a “state religion” then they will begin to narrow down what constitutes “Christian”.
I frequent Yahoo Questions, especially their religious section and just as the Muslims get along with each other while there are people of the Book to attack, but when they are done, they will fight among themselves as the Shiite, Sunni, Ibadi and Ahmadiyya don’t see eye to eye with each other. So with Christianity—we love to lift ourselves up as “True Christians’ and everyone else as “professed “or “false Christians”, “Apostate” or”non-Christians”. Many “orthodox” Christians will not even call the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons or any group that does not adhere to the Trinity as Christians. By the same token the Witnesses will not call any other group Christian, they call them “professed Christians” which is really to say they are not a “True Christian”.
I remember about ten years ago, in my grandmother’s house, we had a Bible Study. Our normal study group was there as well as a local fellowship group. The elder of their group gave a discourse and then we had for the second meeting a verse by verse Bible Study. I can’t remember what book we were in, but I remember the comment about a future Church-State Union in this country. A sister from the visiting group was quite disturbed and was emphatic that that would never happen in this country.
I wonder what she thinks now.
6) Even more recently, Martial Law was proclaimed in the city of Boston. The entire city was shut down and no one was allowed out of their houses. Everyone on joined in on the man hunt.
While it was known what these men did, everyone saw the bomb go off, and they were seen placing that bomb, what happens in the future, when the government puts out a warrant on noncomplying Christians or anyone for that matter who is not in sympathy with the powers that be. We are warned that brother will be against brother and mother and father against their children—is this, what that is alluding to? A time when we will be all too quick to believe the popular propaganda against a fellow citizen, without any call for facts? When we will turn them over for certain torture and imprisonment knowing they will never get a fair trial? There were interesting suggestions coming from the powers that be about not reading the suspects their Miranda Rights—so that they can torture them and detain them for as long as they wanted. What a scary proposition. This is what they have already suggested to the public and now they are wanting to put it to use and no one is objecting. Will they still not object when they haul their friends off? It will be too late then.
What is going on now has nothing to do with Obama—these plans have been set in motion long before President Obama came into the office. He is a mere puppet as were so many other presidents.
Conspiracy theories!!! Scream the Alert, these people are wacked, and they are just a bunch of Conspiracy theorist.
You know that is what they said when reports of Hitler exterminating Jews came out.

“You don’t know what you are talking about, you are a liar”
The Cat in the Hat guy, you know Dr. Suess, he was a political cartoonist during WWII. He has this great cartoon with these guys in suits standing in line to pick up their Ostrich hats from another guy handing them out. Then on the other side, all those who already had their hats, had their heads stuck in the sand. No one wanted to see what was going on in Europe; they buried their heads and hoped it would just go away. Guess what it didn't And those “conspiracy theorists were telling the truth.”
I am not telling anyone to go out and picket or gather in little militia groups. I am just asking that you take your heads out of the sand or wherever you have it buried and open your eyes.
Things are coming and you will be forced one way or another to make a stand. Most of you probably don’t care, which doesn't bode well for the rest of us that do.
The Berlin Wall didn't really come down, it was just moved across the pond to the US, we are on the verge of becoming another East German State.
1) Will you inform on your brothers, your neighbors, your family to the authorities?
2) Will you refuse to be a neighbor to one who needs it and turn them away?
3) Will you believe reports that your friends or neighbors who you have known are now evil terrorists or some sort of villain?
4) When a State Religion comes will you comply with it and receive the mark?
5) Will you decline to say the truth about any subject through fear of reprisal?
6) Will you report that your neighbor or brother still has their guns and a supply of food?
7) Will you sit by and keep your mouth shut when they take your spouse or mother or neighbor in the middle of the night, without warrant or word?
We all need to come to grips with the war that is coming to our back yards. Homeland Security doesn't have enough ammo to shoot every man woman and child in this country for nothing—they plan to use it, as does the other government groups mentioned. They are planning for a full scale war, right here in River City.
I am not telling you to pick up arms. I am just telling you to be ready and to plan ahead of time who you are with. Will you stand for what is right or will you become a Judas Iscariot to your friends, your family, your neighbors. Will you become a government informant?
I am not even encouraging you to be a “Switzerland” –there is no neutral in what is coming. There are plenty of ways to resist the occupation than to tote a gun (especially for Christians).
Open your eyes and your mouths, warn the people, do not be deceived!
You will be vilified, you will be slandered, you will be beaten, you will have your friends turn you in because they are weak. You may even be put to death.
Is there anything so important to you that you would be willing to die?
Pray, I pray that I will have strength to stand alone, to stand for God, to speak His Words when they are due. I am confident that He will give me the strength to endure to the end.
We can’t all predict our death, but if we know what is coming, and we know where we are in relation to that coming—we can pretty accurately predict that our resolve to stand will cost us something and if we are OK with it even being our life, then our life has found purpose.
One of my favorite stories is about a preacher in some country—don’t remember where—was preaching and the police came in and beat him and grabbed him to haul him off. He made a simple request from them that he be allowed to take his bag that was nearby. Well they got really suspicious and opened the bag and pulled everything out, all they found was a change of clothes.
They asked him why he wanted that bag. He told them that he knew they were coming (because they had warned him that if he continued to preach they were going to throw him in prison), so he packed a bag.
Pack your bags; draw the line in the sand that you will not cross. Make some sort of resolve, do something. Take courage!
