The Lord, my Confidence
Proverbs 3:26 Part 1
I am dealing with various employee challenges, and at times I am afraid of the repercussions of making difficult business decisions that can be hard for the employee to accept.
But our God is an expert in dealing with our fear as well as in dealing with the destructive actions of others and how they affect their lives, our lives and the lives of people we love and care for.
“My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; when you lie down, you will not be afraid; and when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:21-26 NIV
Do not let them out of your sight: The Lord spoke to me through these verses with this thought: do not let God and Christ, the source of sound judgment and wisdom, out of your sight! Stay in fellowship, bringing every fear and every dilemma to them. Proverbs 9:10; 1 Corinthians 1:30, James 1:5
Living in harmony with the principles of God brings life!
Living in harmony with the principles of God is grace [#2580 graciousness, kindness, favor or beauty] to your neck; it enhances spiritual beauty.
We will have balance and we will be at peace, even when at rest when there are no distractions.
Have no fear of sudden disaster
The attendant of Elisha, the man of God, had risen early and gone out. And he saw an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. The servant said to Elisha, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”
“Don’t be afraid,” Elijah spoke with certainty. “For those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw.
The mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 kings 6:16-17
We need not fear the unknown, or the unexpected challenge. We need not fear actions or the consequences of those who are ‘lawless’ and not in harmony with the principles of God.
For those who are with us are more than those who are with them.
LORD, open our eyes to see Your unfathomable resources of wisdom and power at work on our behalf.
