Good morning!
I am reminded of who is with me in every place of challenge.
No desolate place or depth of need can match His power because He is our mighty God who provides through the glorious treasure of resource in Christ Jesus, the anointed one who exercises resurrection power to deliver.
Much love in Christ,
Joy
#184 The Power of WE Matthew 15.33
“And Jesus called his disciples to him, and said, I feel compassion of the multitude, because they have remained with me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not wish to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”
And the disciples said to him, Where would we get so many loaves in a desolate place to satisfy such a great multitude? Matthew 15:32-33
Who is “we”? Jesus does not seem to be in the equation here! Or the answer would be obvious.
WE, in partnership with Christ, have a resource that has nothing to do with the desolation of a place!
“Where will anyone be able to find enough to satisfy these men with bread here in a desolate place?”
Who is anyone? Again Jesus does not seem to be in the equation.
In our panic the need overrides our relationship with God and Christ.
Sometimes we ask the wrong question to the wrong person!
In a panic we may say to ourselves, “what am I do to?”
A higher option is to say to the Lord, “show me, what am I to do?”
A still higher option may be to say, “Lord, I trust you to show me the way. We will walk through this together.”
Wherever we are in our circumstance, a desolate place is irrelevant. What is relevant is WHO is with us in the desolate place.
When we put God and Christ in the equation, you do the math. Seven loaves and a few fishes can be multiplied by the power of God to feed a multitude of over 4,000.
Regardless of the desolate place or the magnitude of the need, the result is great abundance and spiritual provision.
“My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19
