#409 The Pure Joy of What Is
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials.” James 1:2
See it as pure joy when you are surrounded by various testings and challenges: because tested faith results in cheerful endurance. These challenges of life that we are facing are meant to refine our spiritual convictions. Cheerful endurance makes growth in Christ to maturity possible.
This challenge is a pure joy opportunity to refine the faith that He sees as precious.
This challenge is a pure joy opportunity to refine our vision to see the privilege and joy of enduring each experience with our Heavenly Father and our Lord Christ Jesus.
This challenge is a pure joy opportunity Is to develop the fullness of heart intimacy and complete development of His love in our heart.
Remember that fear is expectation without God. Hope is expectation with God.
Why be unsettled by shortsighted expectation when you could be at rest expecting My will and promises to be fulfilled?
Your refuge and security are in My will and Providence on your behalf!
You tend to naturally expect the worst.
You think you know the future.
You act as if your imagination of the future is reality, and then you live in the pain that creates.
Do not imagine the future without Me!
Instead of expecting the worst, expect Me!
Expect me to be with you, come what may.
“For the Lord GOD helps me, Therefore, I am not disgraced;
Therefore, I have set my face like flint, And I know that I shall not be ashamed.” Isaiah 50:7
Our determination to go forward is strong in the conviction that the Sovereign Lord who keeps His promises surrounds us with His help, protecting from wound and insult.
“He who vindicates me is near; Who will contend with me?
Let us stand up to each other; Who has a case against me?
Let him draw near to me.” Isaiah 50:8
We can stand face to face to any accuser or any challenge because He stands with us.
Behold the Lord GOD helps me…” Isaiah 50:9
We need to focus on what we really do know: the depth of wisdom and love of our Heavenly Father and of our Lord Jesus Christ.
