#292 Time To Trust Psalm 62.8 Part 2
“Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” Psalm 62:8
“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1
If we trust Him at all times, we can bless Him at all times. We can praise Him for time issues in our life, for each next moment. We can trust Him with time, and timing.
I found out just how limited my view of time really is, and how much my trust in God regarding time is lacking. After being out of town for five days, I was sure that when I got back to work my life would be stressful and hectic. But inspired to let go of this view and to trust God’s timing in His power and His integrity I experienced each moment in the presence of God. Instead of “too much to do” I did the one next thing there was to do in each moment. With this perspective there is no such thing as an interruption, only the next one thing in Christ. This completely altered my return to work experience. The first day back actually seemed easy!
I love this quote:
Because God orders our steps
We can always be assured
That there is enough time in each day to do His will.
He sets the pace.
He is never anxious:
His purpose is for us to move in rest,
live in peace, abound in joy
and depend totally on Him to accomplish through us
all He desires. Roy Lessin
Trusting Him at all times means that I will seek His timing in the choices about my timing.
“Stressful” and “Not enough time” is a perspective that I make up.
I would rather trust and praise Him at all times, MOMENT BY MOMENT!
