Sometimes it seems like one experience follows quickly to another, and fear and vivid imagination of what might happen clouds my trust in God. I was so blessed by a Sister in Christ who shared Psalm 56, 62 91, and 18 and some thoughts. These verses dove-tailed with Psalm 139:23-24 and that also spoke to my current challenge.
#275 Triumph of Trust
It is humbling to bring our thoughts into His presence, under the scrutiny of Pure Love, where sin, anything that hurts the Highest Eternal Good is refined and transformed.
May we bring every fear and desire and outcome that we are attached to into the presence of His Pure Love. Psalm 139:23-24
Psalm 56:11 “In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid of what man can do unto me.” To Trust Him is the greatest place of safety, “the safety of choosing God’s blessed way.” “Is it not wonderful to discover that letting go of self-will prying it out of the hands of the flesh and offering it to Him, enables the very things the flesh was trying to hold onto, a sense of safety?”
Psalm 62:8 “Trust in him at all time, ye people, pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.” There are no exceptions. There is no person or circumstance that is outside the realm of His protecting Power for Highest Good.
Walk boldly along the path of Life, relying on your ever-present Companion. You have every reason to be confident, because My presence accompanies you all the days of your life—and onward into eternity.” Sarah Young
These verses and thoughts lead me to declare, throughout a day of sudden challenges:
I know You are with me. I am confident that whatever the outcome, it is blessed and necessary for Highest Good and growth.
I accept—I welcome what is, knowing that He IS with me and for me.
Should one of the things I fear the most happen, He will use it for healing in His time and way.
Psalm 91:2 He is my refuge, my fortress, My God, in him will I trust.” His unfailing love, wisdom, justice and power are not some impersonal force in the Universe. He is accessible to me in my need! He is my refuge-shelter, my fortress-advantage in spiritual warfare, My Mighty One whose power is mine because I am His.
“You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.” Psalm 18:28-29 NIV When we bring our thoughts—our fears, our stories, our attachments into the presence of His Pure Love we are empowered SEE the light of His truth and to put on His strength. Our thoughts are made new, from darkness to light. Romans 12:2 We will have His strength to run through every troop—every multitude of repeated experience and every time we face many challenges at once and it appears that we are alone with no agreement or support from others. We will have the strength to leap over a wall, however formidable the obstacle may be.
