Trusting the Silence of God

Good Morning!
No further incidents regarding the employee issues. I am grateful for the Lord’s leadings, especially in putting fear in its place, before the Majesty of God.
Trusting God when He seems silent can be a strong test of faith.
But His ways are higher than our ways, and His timing is better than our timing.
Much love in Christ,
Joy
#205 Trusting the Silence of God Isaiah 40.27
“Why do you say, I Jacob, Why declare, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, my cause is ignored by my God.’? Isaiah 40:27 It may seem like He doesn't see our need because He is silent.
Israel did not see the hand of God’s deliverance and they made this ‘silence’ mean that He was unaware and unresponsive to their needs.
“Behold, I go forward but He is not there, and backward, but I cannot perceive Him; when He acts on the left, I cannot behold Him; He turns on the right, I cannot see Him.” Job 23:8-9
Job could not find God in his experience. He seemed silent and invisible because Job did not understand why God would allow the depth of his suffering.
“When he heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.” John 11:6
Jesus did not seem to respond to the urgent need of Mary, Martha and Lazarus.
Once the word of their need was brought to him, there was no word from him.
He was silent.
The silence was actually a delay so that greater glory would come out of the need. The delay caused the need to become greater, yeah, “impossible” to respond to according to narrow human reasoning.
God’s silences are actually His answers. Just think of those days of absolute silence in Bethany! …His silence is the sign that He is bringing you into an even more wonderful understanding of Himself.
If God has given you a silence, then praise Him—He is bringing you into the mainstream of His purposes. The actual evidence of the answer in time is simply a matter of God’s sovereignty.

From God’s view what seems ‘delay’ to us is actually His perfect timing.
“The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 His perfect timing includes His patience toward the Church class, for our full development for the highest good of all, with the intention of full deliverance for “whoever will” in the Kingdom. 2 Timothy 2:2-5; Revelation 21:17
“Regard the patience of God to be salvation..” 2 Peter 3:15 His ‘delay’ which we may experience as His silence is for the highest blessing of deliverance!
“Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, ‘My way is hidden from the LORD,
and the justice due me escapes the notice of my God.’?
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth
does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
He give strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.
Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly,
yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength;
they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired,
they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:27-31
“But he knows the way I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:8
