#468 Wash Day! Psalm 51.7
In various challenges at work and in my personal life I have had a temporary helpless feeling, which stems from the thought: it seems so impossible to be Your Love and to fully trust You in these challenges and in these relationships.
It is a blessing to sense His assurance through His Word.
Ephesians 2:10; Psalm 19:14; 139:1-6, 23-24
Leave that work to Me. Just keep surrendering all that is in your heart and mind in the Presence of My Pure and Vibrant love.
Psalm 51:7 “Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean.”
Let the awareness of the blood-merit of My son be applied to the doorposts of your heart. Exodus 12:22
“Wash me (to trample; hence to wash) and I shall be whiter than snow.”
The action of washing requires the cloth to be moved, agitated, hit upon rocks in old days, and wrung out in order to be made clean. He is speaking to us through these verses:
Continue to give me permission to turn your world upside down, to interrupt your ‘order’, to re-arrange and upset your desire for ‘neatly folded fiber of life’ so that every part of your life will be touched by the water of truth and cleansed.
It’s okay if you feel tossed about and wrung out…Its just the process of exposing every part of your thoughts and emotions to the water of truth.
“Make me to hear joy (342 cheerfulness, welcome) and gladness (blithesomeness [light hearted, merry, cheerful]
Prayer based on this verse:
Open my ear to LISTEN to hear the message of Your welcoming love in the process of deliverance…
“That the bones which Thou hast broken may rejoice.”
Listen for My welcome and call to lighthearted joy amid this unsettling process.
