We are a Team! Psalm 34.7
“Our Father who art in heaven is our strength, shield and helper, an ever present help always. I sometimes open my eyes and see myriad angels ministering to God’s special family.
Thank you, dear Father in Heaven, and for your Son who faithfully serves You and gave us an example to follow!” Thank you Sister Shirley!
I had an experience a number of weeks ago with some medical tests. The nurses kept saying "You are in good hands" and I kept thinking If you only knew... the hands of My Father and my Lord Jesus... and then they said " you have a great team working with you" and I thought 'the angel (s) of the Lord' including some of my dear Brethren praying for me. !!
And then I thought of the verse ‘the angel (s) of the LORD encamp and surround those that fear Him, with the purpose of deliverance.’ Psalm 34:7 As Brother Russell commented angels are messengers of God, animate and inanimate…and they include the Brethren….we are so often God’s messengers to one another…and Yes! We have a GREAT team here!

In the meantime I was diagnosed with the very beginning of endometrial cancer.
One Dear Sister wrote: “There are so many sisters that have had this experience, it's unbelievable. So, we're all in this together!!”
I was encouraged to share this experience because when we share our struggles we give one another a very specific opportunity to be each others ‘angels’ and messengers of the LORD.
I am so grateful for the fact that we are a team—for each other and for our Brethren, a fulfillment on one level of “The angel of the LORD encamps around them that fear Him, and delivers him.” What a privilege to be messengers to one another, sent by the LORD to encourage and bless…
May we continue our ‘encampment’ and be faithful to surround one another as His messengers, according as He leads us to do.
We will not leave our designated post!
