What do you think Jesus meant that if God had not shortened those days, no flesh would survive?

The Great Time of Trouble is likened to: the days of Noah, and the days of Lot.
Mankind is already contemplating and putting plans in motion to eliminate our carbon footprint on the planet--which is a euphemism for they plan to eliminate a portion of the world's population. There are various ways they have put into motion to accomplish this goal. 1) GMO foods--which are known to cause all sorts of harmful side affects, and now it is illegal to single out Monsanto and their practices. 2) Gun control--same thing Hitler did before he took control. 3) Persecution of the small farmer--to put them out of business--so they can control the food. You control the food, you control the people. This is part of Agenda 21. The President has also said that he could take control of the nations food supply for the greater good--the farm census lets them know every chicken, every fruit tree, every tomato and cucumber plant you have planted in your personal garden, every animal that you have. The census is 20 pages long asking a lot of personal information. 4) then there is the one world government which the Vatican is putting forth, and it says it is all for the "common good", basically communism--this is a world wide plot and not American centric.
The US is preparing for a major war on American soil with American people. There is already an Us verses Them sentiment. (Homeland Security, Dept. of Social Security, Dept of Education and other internal departments are buying up tons of rounds of ammunition--what for? Colorado is planning to allow Secret Service men to arrest any Sheriff who won't violate a citizen's 2nd amendment. Tenn. is hiring Airport Security guards (TSA) to do vehicular searches on the roadways.. Maine says its citizens can sell raw milk and produce from their homesteads--the heck with the Federal Government, South Carolina wants to declare a state religion.There is Marshal Law now in Boston)
Line are being drawn, and many Americans will fight against it, and many will turn their brethren in and comply with the state---like in East Germany.
With America embroiled in its own civil war--they will have to pull out of other countries and that will create a vacuum and dominate personalities will seek to fill that void---not for the good of the people, but to control and seize assets.
The whole world will be in anarchy. And if that is not enough to destroy all flesh on the earth--the fallen angels will be loosed from their restrictions placed on them from the flood and they will add a whole new dimension to the evil that will be going on. Those that think themselves safe in their bunkers, cannot hide from a spirit being bent on their destruction.
So, if God does not do something--literally the world would be days away from total destruction. But He will stop it before it gets to that point--and truly those who are still alive at that time will be in harmony with what He is doing. Then the Kingdom which we all pray for will be established.
Things will be so bad, that is why we are told "pray that ye are worthy to escape these things." and "pray that your flight be not in the winter (Great Time of Trouble--which happens after the harvest).
