#256 What Helps us to Accept Every Experience 1 Peter 5.6
“Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God and he will exalt you in due time” 1 Peter 5:6
We humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God when we ACCEPT each experience.
It is possible to do this when we recognize this experience as the mighty hand of God in our lives and humble ourselves beneath the experience by not resisting it. The mighty hand of God includes His power of LOVE and far seeing wisdom!
Phil 2:8 When Jesus humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross, he let go of his own will and accepted the extremity of the will of the Father.
His example instructs us to let go of our own agenda, our own will and perception of how things should be, and to accept whatever His will requires or permits, KNOWING His will is best.
I hear Him speak to me through these verses:
Accept the experience as from My hand; My intention to bless you through the experience is part of My Mighty power on your behalf.
Make your agenda and labels small, and my Loving intention big; accept My will for you in this experience so that I may exalt you and lift you higher, closer to My heart, and finally to lift you high into My Presence, face to face.
“So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them with his skillful hands.” Psalm 78:72
Every present experience comes from His Shepherding heart of integrity and skill!
What a privilege to accept and not resist such amazing Love on our behalf!
