What is the Second Death?
The first death is Adamic. All of mankind is under it because of Adam's sin. It is this sin that Jesus died for.
When we come to Jesus, and come under his blood, we are freed from Adam's curse. That is our New Creature is not under Adamic condemnation.
The second death is applicable to those who have come out from the first death. There is a promised resurrection from the Adamic death, but if one who is freed from Adamic then becomes liable to death once again through sin and disobedience, they reap the second death to which there will never be a resurrection.
The book of Jude describes this condition in great detail with the way of Cain, Balaam and Koreh. Each being a type of the second death. It shows up in some parables--like the wedding garment with the one who doesn't have it on, the goat class in the Sheep and the Goat. If you look at the context and lesson of each of those parables it is a consecrated class (spirit begotten or a wolf class who passes themselves off as a spirit begotten Christian).
John tells us about the sin unto death--that is the second death.
We are given examples of three who actually have received that reward: Judas, Annanias and Saphira
When we look at the word hell--when the word Gehenna is used it depicts the second death (sheol and Hades are Adamic Death)
