#446 Whatever We Do Colossians 3.17,23
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father…Whatever you do, do your work heartily as for the Lord rather than for men…” Colossians 3:17,23
I heard a thought that we can declare our intention and mindset on the basis of this scripture in regard to whatever it is we need to do next. For example: I am about to attend a meeting of employees:
I will do this with my whole heart, by the authority and in the power of my Lord Jesus, my example and my deliverer.
I give thanks through him to You, heavenly Father, as this situation unfolds.
What I am doing I do with my whole heart for You.
