#259 When Things Don’t Go My Way
I will Trust and Praise Him when I feel out of control.
These words really spoke to me amid work deadlines, figuring out Health Care Reform on behalf of our company and employees, and a phone line that was dug up, interfering with my plans to send out this mediation last week…
I think that the spiritual responses of Trust and Praise are keys to deal with that out of control feeling and the fear attached to it.
Love in Christ,
Joy
When many things seem to be going wrong, trust Me.
When your life feels increasingly out of control, thank Me.
If you choose supernatural responses…—trusting and thanking Me—you will experience My unfathomable Peace.
Sarah Young
“Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.
Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,
always giving thanks to God the Father for everything,
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20-21
Phillippians 4:6-7!
Feeling out of control gives us the opportunity to trust His power.
“The LORD sits as King over the flood; the LORD sits as King forever.” Psalm 29:10
Whatever flood of experience we face we are safe and secure because He exercises dominion over the flood as our King.
When we feel out of control, HE is in control!
Strength and peace are His gifts amid the storm. Psalm 29:10-11 Amen.
