#498 When we feel alone Romans 12.5
“…so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another…”
Is any one part of the body alone, as part of the whole?
“We’re a bouquet!”
I just LOVE that thought.
Is any one flower alone in a bouquet?
This calls to mind how that collectively, each of us is part of a greater Praise, a greater Beauty. Each of us is Beautiful in Christ, but each of us is part of the Greater Beauty of the Bride of Christ.
“Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement
grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus;
That with one accord you may with one voice
glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Wherefore, accept one another,
just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.” Romans 15:5-7
“The lesson is to join the small but blessed family of those whose hearts are also so blessed. They are kind too. They have felt what you have. They may seem distant, but that’s because they are looking to Jesus, not you, except YOU are in their hearts. YOU affect their thinking and prayers too; the example of living this solitary way is an example of friendship that will not ever go away. The family of saints is an eternal family. What you say and do with and for them will be recalled forever for the good you’ve done for each of them. It is a blessing of love from God to have this family. They are precious to God, and to you. And you are precious to them. But especially are you beloved of Christ. YOU are beloved. See it and be it.” Thank you, Brother Ron!
