"I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am [the one I claim to be], you will indeed die in your sins" (John 8:24)
Who was Jesus claiming to be?
And what does it mean to "die in your sins"?
Answer:
That he is the Messiah. The fulfillment of all the promises and the Law.
They will die in their sins, because it is only by coming into Christ (Messiah) that we get life.
All in Adam die, and all in Christ shall be made alive.
They will remain dead in Adam as well as condemned by the Law.
