#414 Willing To Trust Isaiah 30.15
So many blessings, lessons and answers to prayer in my time away.
I felt uneasy regarding all the Lord has revealed to apply to my life...
But this verse from Isaiah 30:15 gave me perspective and I am at peace and excited...
“For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel;
in returning and rest shall ye be saved;
in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength…”
Here is a paraphrase based on the meaning of the words:
Our deliverance is in returning: turning, aligning our will with His
and then resting and dwelling in that will.
In repose and trust is our victory.
“For thus said my Lord GOD,
The Holy One of Israel,
‘You shall triumph by stillness and quiet;
Your victory shall come about
Through calm and confidence.’
But you refused.” Isaiah 30:15 Tanakh
Dear Lord, Make us willing to accept without resistance.
We want to quiet our agenda and rest in Your will, ready to take the next step of trust.
May our trust in You quiet every fear.
I am willing.
